These requirements cover heat-actuated, single and multiple station heat alarms intended for indoor and unconditioned space installation as recommended in the end product installation instructions and in accordance with the National Building Code of Canada and the National Fire Code of Canada. These requirements do not cover electrically operated single or multiple station smoke alarms.
