1 Scope and object
This clause of Part 1 is applicable except as follows:
1.1 Scope
Replacement:This Part 2 applies only to electrical powered laboratory equipment for the heating of materials, where the heating of materials is the only function or is one of several functions of the equipment.
1.1.2 Equipment excluded from scopeAddition:
– equipment for the heating and ventilation of laboratories;
– sterilizing equipment;
– heating equipment which the OPERATOR is intended to enter, and which is large enough for the OPERATOR to remain inside with the door or doors closed.
