The parts within the 900 group contain additional normative and informative information related to the TIA/EIA-136 standard. Parts identified as Normative contain normative information and as such provide requirements in addition to those provided in the main parts of the standard. The informative parts, although not included as requirements, contain information intended to aid the user in understanding the use or application of the TIA/EIA-136 standard and provide guidance to the development of interoperable equipment.
