Scope and Purpose
This specification defines a Medium Access & Control (MAC) sub-layer of the Data Link Layer for Smart Utility Networks (SUN). It defines frame and information structures and encoding, neighbor discovery and information transfer services for unicast, beacon, broadcast and multicast data services.
