This Practice describes the criteria for designing and selecting pipe supports for aboveground metallic piping systems in accordance with ASME B31.3. This Practice is limited to temperature ranges of 427°C (800°F) and less, and shall not be used for cryogenic service (i.e., temperature less than -101°C (150°F)).
