JIS T 8147:2016 specifies personal eye-protectors (hereafter referred to as eye-protectors) intended to protect the eyes of workers from airborne dust, chemical droplets, flying objects, etc. and the replacement lenses and eyepieces. It is not applicable to personal eye-protectors against optical radiations and for refraction correction.
