BS PAS 7100:2018 consists of two parts, Part I sets out a code ofpractice for businesses, providing practical guidance tohelp them:
- prepare to manage a possible safety related productrecall or other corrective action;
- establish mechanisms to monitor the safety ofconsumer products;
- investigate any potential product safety issue;
- establish mechanisms to deal with any product safetyissue identified;
- review corrective action programmes to ensure thatproduct safety responsibilities continue to be met.
