This British Standard specifies requirements for the design and manufacture of camping pods, for use as temporary or seasonal holiday accommodation.
NOTE A camping pod has a gross internal floor area of not more than 24 m2 and an overall ceiling height of not more than 3.05 m (see 3.1). Structures of leisure accommodation with greater dimensions than those of a camping pod are classified as either residential park homes (covered in BS 3632) or caravan holiday homes (covered in BS EN 1647).
This British Standard does not apply to canvas/fabric related products.
