Establishes a number of methods for determining the characteristic quantities of three-phase synchronous machines from tests. Applies to three-phase machines having ratings of 1 kVA and above, and rated frequencies of not higher than 400 Hz and not lower than 15 Hz. Does not apply to magnet field synchronous machines, inductor type machines, etc.
