This T1 technical report presents the procedures, information flows and information elements needed for supporting narrowband services via broadband transport technologies. The report provides requirements for the support of narrowband services via broadband transport technologies. Its scope is limited to functionality of the Serving Node (SN) and associated protocols at the call control and bearer control levels needed to provide this capability across an ATM backbone network for Capability Set 1 (CS 1).
