This part of ANSI/ASABE S648 establishes test procedures and performance requirements for braking of self-propelled machines (SPM) and special self-propelled machines (SSP).
The requirements and minimum performance criteria are directed to operation and parking of agricultural equipment having a maximum design ground speed greater than 6 km/h (3.7 mile/h).
