Provides a basis for the development of a Safety and Operating Plan, (or Safety Case) for gas industry network operators. Describes the fundamental elements to be addressed in the preparation of a Safety and Operating Plan by a distribution network operator for the safe and reliable operation of new and/or existing gas reticulation networks supplying fuel gases suitable for domestic, commercial or industrial utilization.
